You get every character, you spin the wheel of RNG for their weapons on gacha banners (1 guaranteed 5-star weapon for 5000 in-game currency with a 90% chance of it being a featured weapon), and you can easily farm Artifacts (which are basically stat enhancements beyond what they get on their own and what they get from unique weapons).
